Profile

I am a physiotherapist with a calm, methodical approach to assessment and rehabilitation, specialising in lower limb conditions affecting the hips, knees, and ankles. My clinical practice focuses on delivering structured, evidence-based care tailored to each individual’s goals, whether returning to sport, improving functional mobility, or managing long-term musculoskeletal conditions.

I place strong emphasis on accurate diagnosis, movement analysis, and progressive rehabilitation planning. By combining hands-on therapy (where applicable) with targeted strength and conditioning principles, I aim to address both symptoms and underlying biomechanical contributors to injury.

Patients value my clear communication style and measured clinical reasoning, which help build confidence throughout the recovery process. My objective is not only to resolve pain but to optimise performance, resilience, and long-term joint health.

Areas of Special Interest

I have a strong professional interest in supporting older adults to retain mobility, independence, and confidence in movement. I am particularly focused on strength preservation, balance optimisation, and reducing fall risk through structured, progressive rehabilitation.

I am also interested in endurance and ultra-endurance performance, including injury prevention, load management, and return-to-sport planning for long-distance and high-volume athletes. Additionally, I have a keen interest in sports rehabilitation, with emphasis on lower limb biomechanics, performance resilience, and sustainable return to activity.

Professional Memberships

Member of the Health & Care Professions Council

Personal Approach

My approach to physiotherapy is centred on clarity, structure, and collaboration. I believe effective rehabilitation begins with a thorough assessment and a clear explanation of the diagnosis and plan. I work methodically to set realistic, measurable goals and progress treatment in a structured way. By combining clinical expertise with open communication, I aim to ensure patients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their recovery journey.

Interests & Hobbies

Outside of clinical practice, I am actively involved in endurance sports, both competitively and organisationally. I regularly compete in ultra-endurance events, including long-distance runs and Ironman triathlons, and contribute to delivering endurance events across the UK and Europe. These experiences reinforce my understanding of training demands, performance resilience, and injury management from both an athlete and practitioner perspective.

Away from sport, I value spending time with my wife and two children, particularly travelling together and exploring new places.
