Profile
George graduated from King’s College London with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. Originally from Guernsey, he moved to London to pursue his studies and develop his career in physiotherapy. He has experience across both NHS and private settings, working with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions including sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain.
He takes a structured, evidence-based approach to assessment and intervention, focusing on helping patients understand their condition and regain function through patient-tailored exercise and self-management strategies.
George has a particular interest in rugby-related injuries and supporting athletes through their return-to-sport journey. He has developed a strong clinical interest in knee-related pain and lower-limb rehabilitation, helping patients restore strength, stability, and confidence in movement.

Areas of Special Interest
One of my key areas of interest within musculoskeletal physiotherapy is return to sport rehabilitation following surgery, particularly for lower limb injuries such as ACL reconstruction. I am especially interested in supporting patients through the transition from late-stage rehabilitation to full sporting participation, ensuring they are physically prepared and confident to meet the demands of their sport. This includes using a structured, criteria-based approach that focuses on strength, neuromuscular control, and sport-specific conditioning, while also addressing injury prevention. I find this area rewarding as it allows me to combine evidence-based practice with individualised care to help patients safely achieve their performance goals

Personal Approach
My approach is centred on patient education and promoting self-management. I place a strong emphasis on helping individuals understand their condition, the factors contributing to their symptoms, and the rationale behind their rehabilitation programme. By empowering patients with knowledge and practical strategies, I aim to encourage active participation in their recovery and long-term health. I support patients in developing confidence to manage their symptoms independently, adapt their activity levels appropriately, and maintain progress beyond formal treatment. This approach fosters greater adherence, improves outcomes, and equips patients with the tools to prevent future injury.
Interests & Hobbies
Outside of work, I enjoy socialising with friends, often in pubs, and keeping up with rugby, especially the Six Nations, although that’s been a bit more character-building than enjoyable recently. I also spend time training in the gym, which complements both my personal interests and professional practice. Being from Guernsey, I particularly appreciate getting outdoors in the summer, whether that’s walking around the island or spending time at the beach.
